The Shotgun used by the reclusive Marauders during the Second Martian Revolution was an adapted version of the old Ultor Corporation UAS-10 Combat Shotgun which have not been use seen since the end of Ultor's occupation.

Description

Although outdated, it still packed a significant punch at short range and the home made bayonet also made it a formidable threat in close quarters. The shotgun is also modified to be loaded by a magazine on the top. The shotgun is a formidable weapon at close since it's capable to kill enemies with a single shot. The bayonet can be used for melee attacks.

Usage

being so powerful but not damaging structures or having the over penetration and range concerns of other weapons such as the pistol, grinder, and the various rifles, the marauder shotgun is great for hostage rescue and other building assault missions where the user finds themselves in close quarters with enemy.

Trivia

• Like other Marauder weapons, the Shotgun oddly has no entry in the Guerilla Handbook.
• The marauder shotgun is almost certainly chambered in 10 gauge because of the weapon it's based on, magazine dimensions and damage output, leading to questions about ammo supply as 10ga is most commonly used for turkey hunting IRL and buckshot is less common.
• The marauder shotgun is heavily inspired by both the franchi SPAS-12 and early top feed automatic weapons including but not limited to: the BREN LMG, ZB-26 family of LMGs, owen SMG, and the Australian F1 SMG
• This weapon gets a gun bashing damage buff on account of the nasty saw blade bayonets, that would prove problematic if one were to try to carry it slung and especially while running.
