Red Faction: Guerrilla #1 is the comic that was released prior to the release of the series' third title, Red Faction: Guerrilla and was titled "A Fire on Mars".
It mostly followed Dan Mason and Samanya during the early conflict in Parker, the Earth Defence Force determined to infiltrate and destroy the Red Faction movement. The comic spans more than a month and ends the day before Alec Mason arrives on Mars.
