Red Faction: Armageddon #1 "Family Record" was the pre-release comic for the fourth game in the Red Faction series, Red Faction: Armageddon and it followed an arrangement started by Red Faction: Guerrilla and its pre-release comic, RF: Guerrilla #1. The comic also ties in with Red Faction: Origins which was slated for airing at around the time of Armageddon's release.
The comic follows Darius Mason as he clashes with a group of mercenaries hired by Adam Hale to raid a train shipment of Red Faction munitions, about a year prior to the beginning of Armageddon. It also includes historical flashbacks involving Alec Mason and Jake Mason.
