Leo is a member of the Earth Defence Force in the early stages of the Second Martian Revolution. As an intelligence recruit, he becomes a double agent amongst the Red Faction during the Battle of Parker, eventually springing an elaborate trap which nearly kills Samanya and Dan Mason.
More importantly, the Armor Labs Sting forces the whole insurgent movement to go to ground for a month, abandoning their old base of operations.
