Frank Winters is a seargent who became the de facto leader of the Red Faction after the Plague Armageddon of 2175, with the majority of Red Faction leadership presumed dead and is the secondary tritagonist in Red Faction: Armageddon.

Summary

He is a close and personal friend of Darius Mason, he fought along side Darius for the battle of the Terraformer, he admitted that the battle for the Terraformer wasn't entirely Mason's fault, and accepted some of the blame.

He played the major role in the Plague Armageddon as leading the squad and civilian escape from the horrifying aliens massacres toward back to the heart of bastion. However, only ending up failure as leading some of the remaining squad members toward to the surface. He even suspecting of his friend have something to do with it, but it was resolved afterward as it was Adam Hale tricking him for do that. At the same time, they hiding out and creating temporarily bases for the Red Faction.

While fending off the aliens on the other hand. Eventually, they reach to marauders state fending off successfully against the alien and discussing a plan to end the nightmare. He and Darius go to the backdoor to destroy the device that blocked by the lava where The Queen lair are. While Kara and her marauder fighting against horde of the aliens to get the Mantis Heavy Walker.

Where the plague queen lair held. While at the queen lair, he let Kara and Darius Mason to handling themselves. While he and his whole faction have to defend the Marauder state.

Right after Darius have defeated the Queen and fully restored the whole Terraformer. He command the forces of the Red Faction to secure the area and congratulated Darius for living out his family legacy and feeling sorry about Kara as he couldn't believing she was dead.

Future

It is likely he will continue to lead the Red Faction after the events of the Plague Armageddon, possibly in the retaking of the Martian surface and the rebuilding of its settlements. To prevent the second outbreak he would also more than likely track down and dispose of any surviving Cultists and combat the Plague as it adapts to survive in the artifical atmosphere created by the rebuilt Terraformer.
