EDF Assault is a guerrilla action featured in Red Faction: Guerrilla.

Description[]

The EDF Assault is similar to the guerrilla raid side mission. In EDF Assault, the EDF forces launch an attack against a guerilla hideout. Guerrilla forces must defend their positions especially the key point structures until the EDF units are reduced to zero. However during the assault, additional EDF reinforcements can arrive to the battle notably armoured vehicles. If the defending guerrilla's number reaches zero the assault is over. If the player successfully repels the assault, he/she will be rewarded with morale boost.

EDF Assault is a radio tag mission, meaning it will only appear when the EDF control of their respective sector drops below a predefined amount.
