Destruction Targets are side-objectives to complete in Red Faction: Guerrilla. When destroying one of the many types of targets, it will grant the player a decrease in control for the EDF. They are normally grouped close by so destroying one can attract a lot of attention from nearby EDF.
They come in two different variants: Medium and High. Destroying medium targets will give the player a decent drop in control whereas destroying the high value targets will grant a huge drop. Although, high targets can be very hard to get to and destroy so may need some planning and a lot of ammunition to take down. They are marked with blue star icons on the map of Tharsis.
